MEM Non-essential Amino Acids, also MEM NEAA, enhances cell growth and viability in several cell culture applications. These amino acids can be found in the standard MEM.
Description:
Non-essential Amino Acids (100x) are used as a supplement for cell culture medium, in order to increase cell growth and viability. The formulation corresponds to 100x of the nonessential amino acids found in the standard Minimum Essential Medium (MEM).
The MEM NEAA are used as an additional amino acid pool for rapidly proliferating cells or for cells, which have lost the ability to synthesize non-essential amino acids on their own. The non-essential amino acids include glycine, L-alanine, L-asparagine, L-aspartic acid, L-glutamic acid , L-proline, and L-serine.
