Mycoplasma Elimination Reagent Plus(100×) | DIB4022-10ML | 10ml | bottle | 2400 |
Product introduction
This product is a combination of quinolones, tetracycline and macrolides for the removal of mycoplasma cells. It inhibits DNA replication and protein synthesis of mycoplasma cells, thus effectively removing mycoplasma cells. This product can completely remove mycoplasma from infected cells within 5-7 days. After normal medium was replaced, the cells were in good condition, and there was no repositive phenomenon in continuous multi-generation culture.
Storage and transportation
Wet ice transportation; Stored at -20℃ to avoid repeated freeze-thaw, valid for 12 months.

steps
1. Take 1 mL Mycoplasma Elimination Reagent Plus (100×) and add it to 100 mL cell culture medium (including serum, without double antibody), mix thoroughly. The complete medium containing Mycoplasma Elimination Reagent Plus was obtained.
2. Replace medium containing Mycoplasma Elimination Reagent Plus for routine cell culture when Mycoplasma infected cells are subcultured or fluid is changed;
3. After 5 days of culture, some cells were taken and inoculated into 6-well plates (or other culture vessels of other specifications), and the normal complete medium was replaced. The remaining cells were cultured in Mycoplasma Elimination Reagent Plus medium.
4. Cells in 6-well plates were cultured in normal complete medium for 2-3 days, and tested for mycoplasma when the confluence of cells reached over 90% (DIB1915, DIB1916, DIB1917);
5. Perform the following operations based on the test results:
A) Positive results: Repeat steps 3-4 until the test results are negative.
B) Negative results: The cell group containing Mycoplasma Elimination Reagent Plus medium was replaced with normal complete medium. After a period of culture, Mycoplasma detection was performed. Negative results of the retest indicated that the removal was completed.
Matters needing attention
1. This product has been tested in a variety of mycoplasma infected cell lines, but different cell lines have different sensitivities to the reagent. If the cytotoxicity is too great or the removal effect is not good, the concentration of the product can be adjusted appropriately or the removal time can be extended, or other scavengers can be selected (DIB4023 is recommended).
2. There are many ways for cells to be infected with mycoplasma, so it is recommended to add mycoplasma prevention reagent (DIB4024 is recommended) in daily culture.
3. For cells that have been determined to be contaminated with Mycoplasma, try to use a separate ultra-clean table during operation to avoid cross-contamination.
4. For your safety and health, please wear lab coat and disposable gloves.
